HBO (Home Box Office) is an American premium cable television network, best known for their original programming, films and boxing matches, as well as occasional stand-up comedy specials. They are the oldest continuously operating cable television service in US history, having operated since November 1972.

Silicon Valley has currently aired three seasons on the channel, and has been renewed for a fourth, set to air in 2017.

History with Silicon Valley[]

Season 1[]

Silicon Valley was green-lit by HBO on May 16, 2013, and premiered on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 10 pm, immediately following the fourth season premiere of Game of Thrones. The first season consisted of 8 episodes, and concluded on June 1, 2014.

Season 2[]

On April 21, 2014, HBO renewed Silicon Valley for a second season. It premiered on April 12, 2015, and stayed in its 10 pm timeslot. It consisted of 10 episodes and concluded on June 14, 2015.

Season 3[]

On April 13, 2015, one day after Season 2 premiered, Silicon Valley was renewed for a third season. It premiered on April 24, 2016, keeping its regular timeslot. Like the previous season, Season 3 consisted of 10 episodes, and ended on June 26, 2016.

Season 4s[]

Three days before Season 3 started airing, HBO renewed Silicon Valley for a fourth season, which will air in 2017.[1]
